Inspiring video! No one really plays here where I am (Estonia), but I enjoy playing an occasional game of DBA with my son or a friend. I made the same mistake with my hills being too steep and units sliding off. The draw of terrain making is the creativity it inspires.

My first attempt of something like this. I had a few mistakes, but all in all I think it worked out pretty well and I used my phone. I hope you find this useful and/or entertaining.

Try shipping tape on the bottom of your cardboard bases to help keep them from warping. Seemed to help mine. Great video. Gives me some ideas.

Cool video, Tony. We certainly need more DBA-content here on YT. A video on basing for DBA would be nice.

I already did a basing video several years ago. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn-vgpiLYqp9rJI

Good work and A+ for creative utility. Like the castles in particular. I will have to hang out in pet shops, be sure not to take the kids in with me though or I may come back with more than I bargained for! ;) Also like the "plough"! Good point with respect to the crest-line

Very nice stuff!!! I have a question no need a space for put a base element in the BUA?
@TonyAguilarFigure-atively3 жыл бұрын
It is nice if you can make it so, but you can just as easily set it off to the side after you have informed your opponent of the intention of being in tbe BUA. Communication is key.

@@TonyAguilarFigure-atively I saw one guy who had his beautiful BUA and a separate piece for the footprint - a little like you did for the woods. He would place the BUA and set up his troops on the 'footprint', off to one side and it was possible to move around the BUA if required. In the event of a combat, they would just calculate the location as if they were present.

My terrain is lame. :-( I need to try some of these ideas. Tony, I've seen your minis in action in other videos, and they look fantastic. Can you do some miniatures painting and basing videos.?
@TonyAguilarFigure-atively7 жыл бұрын
I may get around to that at some point. My method takes a lot of patience, but is relatively easy. I am glad you are enjoying the content. Regards.
