Dang, your words of "not fun or crazy enough like flips" and it being "underutilized" really represent what balance is, and why people struggle with it. You gave it a really good definition. Wow. THAT WAS SO GOOD

Nice tutorial man. Remembers me when I used to balance on everything hahaha. Might pick it up again. Upload idea: handstand and round off handspring
@christiandunne55055 жыл бұрын
Great tutorial Ronnie, is really helpful. One of the things that (i believe) is important is staying calm. As you start to lose your balance, panicking could cause you to possibly injure yourself, so staying calm and keeping a good mind about it is a good idea. Thanks for the tips!

Hey Ronnie. Don't know if this will ever come to fruition, but I kind of want to set up some basic Parkour learning things like making a woodwn vault wall and embedding pipes into the ground for balance paractice. Basically a parkour playground. Again, don't know if I'll ever actually do it, but I was thinking for a backdrop, maybe make either a mural of your intro or make some objects that from the intended entrance, look like your intro. Of course, where I live has plenty of kids so I'll probably put a "Must be 48 inches to use equipment" sign with a red lone at 48 inches up. That probably won't stop them though.
@scottwilliams846 Жыл бұрын
But me, if you were to set up a changeable parkour playground, they'll just take the parts of it that aren't bolted down and scatter them across the apartment complex grounds. And you'll be taking up a field that you don't own, so the legality of setting one up in the first place is questionable. Also yes, there _will_ be little kids who ignore the 48 inches sign and then will complain to the property manager, who will figure out you made the playground, and then likely evict you and your family. And you don't want that.

Also, the kids ripped three of four lamp posts out of the ground. What's keeping your balance pipes safe?

Hi, I'm learning how to do a flip, can you help? I can sort of do it in a trampoline, (we have one in our backyard) but I always land on my back or butt. Also, we are on vacation and will be for about 4 more months, so I don't have access to a trampoline.

I am getting advenced at parkour and i did a few wallruns and i cant do the climb up can you please give me some advice? And i already watched your tutorial on it
@aaronhuss61755 жыл бұрын
martin stojanovic I had the same struggle as you. When your younger it's harder because your muscles are less developed. But you need to do 100 pushups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats and 25 pull ups, 6 days a week. If you can't do all of them you can do cheat variations of them. For example: knee pushups, and pull ups that you jump into.
@aaronhuss61755 жыл бұрын
martin stojanovic One more thing, once you get the strength never cheat a wall climb up, always practice everything as perfect as you can possibly get it, until it's perfect.

How about building a lower bar for practice? How do you train for fitness and flexibility?
@tappajaav3 жыл бұрын
"Fitness" is very broad term and pretty much anything that challenges your body to grow and improve can improve that. If you want to train your endurance, you train endurance. If you want to increase strength/muscle, you do resistance training. Obviously there's at least some overlap but you improve most at what you do. Swimming, biking and running are some of the most common endurance exercises and are all very applicable. Lifting weights(typically in gym) or doing calisthenics are good if you want to get stronger(and put on more muscle - depends how you train and eat).

This is a scarily inadequate tutorial. Please see the one I made for Parkour Visions by searching "Rail Balance Basics | Parkour Visions" if you are a beginner or believe you could never achieve rail balance and also want to learn via method and progression.
