Update6 months and I'm still loving this bench. kzbin.infoUgkxo_64lVTGMk7y4aXTPxPOcQ3YTLyQ6kYV I use it almost daily. I've gotten used to the small wobble and it's no problem at all. Love the storage, it folds right next to my weight set in the garage and hardly takes any space. I wish the covering material was a little bit tougher. I have a feeling that in a couple years it'll tear, but the bench is very well priced that I would just buy a new one.3 month usage review. Awesome bench for someone looking for compactness and storage. I did have to drill a couple holes to adjust my preferred seating position and leg bar position but that's only due to my personal preference. It's very sturdy for normal workouts, but for anyone going above 100# dumbbell press it wobbles ever so slightly. I would probably go with a fixed bench if that's the case. That being said i can accomplish 99% of my normal gym workout with this setup. Very happy with the purchase.

This is literally my routine and I guarantee y’all that it works. My story if you guys are interested: Worked out for 2 years everyday walking to the gym when I first started. Max was 225 on bench here. Went to college didn’t workout much, went like once every two weeks. Took a break from college. Started to go to gym every day again. Max bench was 185. Did this exact routine while “max” benching every day. And in 3 months maxed 315 on bench. Been working out for 5 years now, consistently for 3 and a half. 5’8” and 155 pounds when I hit 315. And when you guys bench, get that back arched, legs and feet back, spread your lats, tighten your core, retract the scapula, drive with your legs, elbows at a 45 degree angle, take a deep breath and get at it. Also Terron! Met you at the Olympia in Vegas back in 2016. It was a pleasure to meet you.

@jamesbradford11536 жыл бұрын
I didn’t mean that powerlifting in general would hinder his performance, I said if he went ALL IN on just powerlifting it would. A man has only so much time and energy per day at his disposal to use, and powerlifting is probably one of the most CNS-intensive sports out there. Not to mention you’re looking at longer workouts that sometimes go into the 3-4 hr range for the elite leve guys. After all that, how much juice do you really have left to give into your core, sport-specific stuff? It’s a lot to ask of a person, and I think personally a balanced approach is always the best. A little bit of everything mixed in.
@de5bullygorilla6 жыл бұрын
Rob D have you done any comps? Because the squats make me perform better, probably something to do with warming up your nervous system and it's only three attemps of 1rep. Your not gassing yourself and I've always lifted more on a platform compared to gym , you get a massive increase in strength from adrenaline. Usually lifters will perform better in a meet
