Good video. Do you know how this would effect what spring rate I would need? If I went from a 50mm to a 55mm travel, would I need a... let's say a 450lb spring instead of a 500lb spring, or would I need a 550lb spring. I'm thinking I would need the 450lb spring since I increased to 55mm but could be wrong.

Hi! lovely video and helped me a lot! Have you noticed any difference after you cut the spacer off or does it feel excatly the same as before? Cheers!

do you unscrew the eyelet or just pull it off

I did not unscrew the eyelet. I just cut the spacer off. If you want to remove the spacer without cutting it you will need to complete more disassembly.

@@colchilibeck I don't want to cut it off cuz I'll need it later but if I need to disassemble the whole shock in order to remove it, thought I could just unscrew the eyelet and slide the spacer out🙁

@@lovropavic7601 You will need proper soft jaws to hold the shaft from spinning. Might be best to have a LBS do it. I cut it off as I knew I would never want to shorten the travel in the future.
