I don't know is it a mind thing or what but I've been benching 405 for years and it stills feels so heavy
@darbyparke91052 жыл бұрын
405 is a pretty elite bench though by most people's standards
@JT-ro1gm2 жыл бұрын
It can get light for your muscles but 405 is always gonna be heavy feeling to the joints and tendons of the human body 😂

It’s called being a human. Sorry to tell you that there’s a place where you don’t go up anymore. Especially if you’re not gaining muscle and that goes double if you’re natural

I was just about to say that's a normal feeling for someone who isn't juicing.. Most and I mean high 90% of KZbin fitness content creators are on something or have used before.. Not to many people in the world can bench 405lbs so I think that's dope... I bench 405 incline and I'm ok with that. I don't wanna go any higher and I do this for reps.. Pat yourself on the back my guy

How come I never see wraps for the elbows? Seen sleeves for your knees before. I get elbow pains sometimes EVEN on some warm up sets (I think it’s genetics for me), and do no where near your weight yet, but I’m just curious?

Any tips on keeping bench strength while cutting?
@MrSham3less2 жыл бұрын
Keep benching heavy and keep your protein intake even higher
@kimani44382 жыл бұрын
@@MrSham3less should i give myself deload weeks cus sometimes my body cant handle it. like for example right now i try to hit 3 plates 1 rep once per week and then go down to 295 3 reps, 275 5 reps, 245 10 reps and 225 10 reps
@MrSham3less2 жыл бұрын
@@kimani4438 You can deload after a specific time, I do every 10 weeks. Or you can just deload whenever you feel really beat up
@JT-ro1gm2 жыл бұрын
@@kimani4438 From my personal experience, if you’re feeling beat up just do like 3-4 sets of 10 with like 135 on bench then some body weight dips and light cable flys or machine flys. Just get a good pump and don’t stress your body. Have a fun workout and rest that body part for a week. Should help that built up fatigue dissipate. Also as far as strength when cutting, just continue to lift heavy and keep protein intake on the high end like the other guy said (try to get close to your body weight in grams per pound) also I would suggest training to failure less cause your chances of injury are higher when you are in a deficit so for example, like Terron said in this video, if you can hit a weight for 6 reps in a max effort set do it for sets of 3. This stimulates your body with heavy weight but doesn’t create so much damage that you won’t be able to recover. Save the crazy Dorian Yates shit for at least when you’re eating at maintenance haha
