Where did that 2mm blue wire end up connecting to on the charger? I just struggled following along on that part

It's a trigger wire which you connect to an igntion source. If you have a smart alternator vehicle, you MUST connect it to that. If you have an older vehicle without a smart alternator, connecting that is optional. If you're not sure, go ahead and connect it to an ignition source that's your safest bet.

This setup will still run items you power off the new SECOND battery, and if you hook up the blue ignition trigger wire, it won't draw power from your car main battery once you stop the car.

Sick of this already. Made the mistake of buying and Itech system. Conflicting instructions and not enough parts. Doing my head in. Thanks for the video. One of the better ones. Not full of unnecessary garbage and marketing.

Why would you need a battery charger? The car already has an alternator which can charge both batteries while the car is running.

The alternator is a constant voltage charger. Not suitable for deep cycle battery charging. especially lithium-iron batteries. You need a special charger called "DC to DC charger". This charger controls the amount of current that goes to the 2nd battery in stages. This gives the 2nd battery longer usable life.

The speakers accent is very distracting and he talks too fast and I can tell he isn't the one who wired in the battery system. He's just reading it. Not a terrible video though. I can tell you put effort in here. Thanks anyway.
