dont forget to check the inside of your new filter just n case of any kind of factory debris that could be in it.

For mine it’s such a pain cuz I have the strut bar so it’s in the way an I gotta take out everything😂🤦‍♂️

I keep hearing that it might not be a good idea bc it can throw off the tuning. In your opinion should I be worried about that? Should you always plan on retuning you car after this type of upgrade?

To be completely honest, it hasn’t thrown off the balance of my air to fuel ration, I had an ma Megan racing exhaust already installed, if there is any imbalance I can’t really tell, if there is something it’s so slight I couldn’t even tell it’s there, you can get it tuned but on a stock block with stock internals these are one of the best 4 cylinders ever made, I wouldn’t be too worried about it tbh

Dude did the injen have the tube that goes down into the wheel well...? The short ram intake tube is definitely gonna created a Hot ram intake in the Summer months ...

Nah it doesn’t come with an additional tube for the wheel well, they sell a cold air intake for that.

But the thing about cold air intakes is that you run the risk of hydro locking your engine if water get into the air intake itself
