That was oddly satisfying. I’ve never removed that much trim in one go from any of my cars. Probably because they were all 80’s and 90’s hot hatches so they were tiiiny lol

can you you just use electrical tape to connect the wires?

That will work for a while, but it’s entirely possible (likely even) that they’ll come loose your radio will quit working or even cross wires and break in time

I was curious about this radio after your instagram post the other day. It looks pretty nice, it's a shame about the gps antenna. Is it easy to get a replacement from them?

I’m glad you asked! I did a quick Google search and it looks like a universal part. I saw very similar ones with the same connector for $5-$15 bucks all over the place. Maybe I’ll try to put a new one on sometime 👍🏻

I’ve only had it in the car and operational about a month but so far so good. I keep up decently with comments so we’ll see. I might make a “12 months later” type vid, but really I’m more interested in 5+ year lifespans, if not “longer than the car” lifespans when I buy this sort of thing. Curious, but who knows how long it may take to find out lol 💀
