HUGE SIDE NOTE: If you have a spoiler installed from the factory you may have fitment issues. Especially with the 17+ models. This and the TRD spoiler do NOT cover the oem holes! Please be aware and don’t make the mistake I did!!!

That is one intelligent way to do it, knowing myself I would have probably pulled all masking from the tape before slapping it on the car. But this seems like a smart way to do it. Good video.

I know you guys don’t have it in stock but it’s my favorite wing in the GT86. I just picked up my second 86 and I’ve noticed nobody AT ALL has a video posted of installing it or if it in general and I’ve searched far and wide but it’s the Siedoworks Whale Tale spoiler. I’d love to see some or at least one video of it being installed and hopefully a good quality one compared to a lot of the junk videos that exist of Wing installs on KZbin.

In any exterior mod, I use 3M then with black silicon applied on the edges to its watertight and stickier.

Luis Alicea Most OEM’s use double sided tape to hold on badges. The 3M tape is pretty tough stuff.

Use some 3M activator on the spoiler and truck lid prior to installing the tape and it will NEVER come OFF! Only neg is that once it touches its there for ever regardless of it being out of alignment!

Disappointed with speedfactory86. Everytime I order something it always ends up being in back order. It takes months for a small item to ship. I ordered cf ac vents back in Feburary, May is almost over and still hasnt even shipped. And when you contact customer services they give you a false/inaccurate date of when your item will shipp.

You can use the tape for clamp IMHO... Just tape it across the spoiler.

Okay that's cool and all, but what if I want to take one off? My TRD Spoiler is peeling at the edges and I need to remove it so I can clean out the dirt underneath.

I would try some fishing line. Get the middle of a long strand at the edge of the bottom and gently do a sawing motion, you should be able to remove it, but there will be a lot of adhesive clean up.

Fishing line as last comment said and if you want to remove the old glue get a emblem remover wheel put it on a drill and you should get it removed with in a good 15 min or less as I did then just clean it up and well then this vid helps you re align it up. Good luck

Yes if you add 3M 94 primer to the surfaces prior to applying the 3m tape. 🤘
