Thanks for the feedback....I hate doing it from that angle because the viewer just can't see what I'm looking at. Maybe I need to hire a videographer 😂

Awesome video Mike. I’m just about to install Mopar 2” Lift w/Bilsteins on our Gladiator Ecodiesel. It will require a new Track bar. I understand exactly how to make the adjustment on it now. Thanks!

Installed a Rusty's off Road track bar on the front of my ZJ a couple of years ago, and have been very pleased with the results, it is very heavy duty and uses a moog part # ES3096 L tie rod on the adjustable end that is the same as what is used for a 3/4 ton Chevrolet or GMC and can be easily located at many part stores if needed.

I see that the left tie rod is bolted upside down. Why do you have it like that? Thank you for a great video!
@TheBFHGarage5 ай бұрын
It's called a tie rod flip. Keeps the tie rod up higher and out of the way of rocks. I have a video on it.

Front trackbar is now extended for the lift. The TJ also has a rear trackbar. Will this same process necessary for the rear as well? Thanks for the many instructive videos.

Yes, the same process!

im trying to decide between mc 3.5 game changer vs a currie/rock jock 4 inch. ( 2006 tj 4.0 6 speed , 35s / stock fenders) . I see you havent changed your springs yet. ( saw a video you posted a couple years ago commenting you probably were going to change them for currie/rock jock springs.) is there a technical/performance reason you kept the MC 3.5 springs? or you just haven't gotten there yet due to other reasons/ projects ? what kit should I go with ? Thank you !

@@ernestochamorro1 ummm.....jeeps. 🤣😂 Actually I have changed out for the Rock Jock springs. I just needed time to cycle everything to check for interference issues. I was going to wait until I out boarded but I need to swap axles first. My list of corrections is long but my time isn't.

@@TheBFHGarage never ending story ! how do like the 4 inch rock jock springs ? how would you compare them ? Thanks for replying !
@TheBFHGarage6 ай бұрын
@@ernestochamorro1 the RJ springs use 1" less bump stop than the MC springs, so that's a big plus. Along with their free length when at full droop, they are perfect. If you have a heavier Jeep, meaning that you carry a lot of stuff and have a big heavy tire carrier etc., then get the LJ version of the rear springs. They are 1/2" taller and help offset the weight.
