Hey I do feel your pain but I'm glad I found out about yours and Matts channels it's been cool to see just regular guys like us working on our projects . Keep going and don't get too frustrated. When that happens to me I just walk away from it for a while until I get a second wind. Hey just a cool thing is I'm in Nashville tonite. I work for Averitt Express. Just brought a load down here to the yard and while I'm waiting for my return load home I was watching your video. Hang in there bro !

+James Mitchell haha! That's awesome! Have you ever met Al Pearson? He's a good friend of mine, and works at Averitt. Thanks for the encouragement!

How did you get the t bolts back in? I currently have the top bolt in but not the bottom. The frustration is getting to me!!!!

Watching this after the painless video. I’ve already run into the brittle issue in the engine bay of my Dodge. 40 years, 30 of those in the desert. I’m considering buying a new column all together for mine. It was stolen at one point and they didn’t do a good job with the connectors when they put it back together. The connector to the ignition switch is falling apart. I have to wiggle it to get power sometimes. 🙄

What a mess! Yeah, all my wires were so brittle!

I have a 1991 wrangler. I have now broken the 2nd multifunction switch off in the column so I'm opting for a on-off-on toggle switch that I'm going to mount on the column. Just got to figure out how 🤔😂...any video for that?

Haha! None yet!

hey, so your turn signal switch is on the left side. Am I right in assuming the turn signal cam that turns off the blinker should be mounted on the rear of the wheel such that it's on the RIGHT side? Not between the signal ears on the left (like I did today?.......).

So you have a left over wire that is baby blue in the video. I do to. what is it for and where does it go? Please help! Thank you!
@NashvilleEarlyBronco4 жыл бұрын
I don’t think you need it

@@NashvilleEarlyBronco well i have it all wired up and i have tested the flashers and they work. But the blinkers are not. So i think i may have a grounding issue. Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!

Ground is where I would start

The blue wire with the red stripe is for the shift indicator light that is on the turn signal switch

So I just put mine in and the connectors that are on the new switch are smaller than the original factory ones. Is there a different horseshoe connector I could buy that you know of?
@NashvilleEarlyBronco6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I think there are two styles. The smaller horseshoe is the earlier models I believe.

More like "How not to.." Wrapping it could have worked; all you needed was a wire to fish it through the "steering collar."
@brockarmstrong98966 жыл бұрын
Ok so I’ve run into a problem🤦♂️ I went to put my turn signal in and realized that the connectors on this new switch wont fit the stock connectors on my bronco. What should I do?
@NashvilleEarlyBronco6 жыл бұрын
Ouch! Return isn’t an option? Can you change the connector that’s till in the bronco?
@brockarmstrong98966 жыл бұрын
Nashville Early Bronco after getting it in I don’t even want to take it back out haha. But I cut off the old connector on my old switch and tried to see if I could buy new ones but they don’t have them anywhere! so my only option unless you have a better one is to go by nice heat shrink connectors and hook them up that way.
