we need more 1stgen 4afe content! I have and ae92 sedan that i want to keep the original engine with and build it out a little higher compression a bigger cam put it on stand alone and mabe some itbs, bit im still not sure about itbs. Any suggestions on cam's? I was looking at cat cams 268 cams bit im worried the would be to big for the engine, I will also be doing port and polish bigger injectors and fuel pump, any sources or information will be helpful and greatly appreciated !

I’ll definitely try to push out more 4af/4afe content! It’s just harder when I don’t own one haha😅 But I believe 264 is the highest you can go before problems arise but typically I only see aftermarket cams for the 4AGE not the 4afe but nice that’s cool!

Out of curiosity why upgrade the carb instead of getting a 4age or 4agze

Swapping a carb is waaaaayyyy cheaper, easier and ALOT less work, especially in a 4af sr5 chassis, this carb install was 400 and doesn’t require pulling the motor, swapping in a new harness or anything, really simple

A 4AGE swap on an sr5 is more of a headache, since your going carbed to efi, let alone just sourcing the 4AGE engine, wiring harness and and ecu And then the 4agze is harder to find and more pricey

Okay sure turn the switch all the way on. Then what you do is flip the switch almost all the way back, but youll leave it a click before its at the postion you started with. And thats how you keep it up
