Hello. The front bar should be 6" from the front windshield. The rear bar will mount 15" behind the front bar. Hope this helps.

Yes, Yakima locks are sold separately, but you can add them to any of their roof rack components to prevent theft.

I looked it up for a ford probe, don't see how this will work. It's a frameless door meaning no door frame around the window. How will I be able to close the window all the way?

The M1 measurement for my 2004 Honda Civic Si is too long, the towers lift off my car when the lever is compressed. It's not 38.5 as listed. Do you have a correct M1?
