Great video, I did same thing but the after market unit did not pick up Bluetooth, steering wheel controls or reverse camera. I thought when purchasing a plug and play after market product it would automatically pick up everything the original device had.

I tried installing one of those units to mine 2011, Toyota Camry, but the brackets did not fit ( line-up) with the screws on the new unit, do you know why is there different measurements for the different type of AC controllers?

While you're in there add a ground wire there's a frame right behind the radiator you can screw into also while you're in there run your video cable and your trigger wire whether or not you're ready to install the camera otherwise every single time you got to take it out take it out take it out also do not put all the counseling and everything back together until you check it and see if it whistles if you have JBL it may whistle as you drive then you'll have to get another JBL or figure out something or delete the JBL altogether which would be kind of stupid but sometimes I must

Mine is a Camry Altise 2006 very similar to yours the difference is my clock is all the way down next to the wind screen , plus I have a seperate ashtray search it up to be more specific but the question is would this fit my Camry 2006 cause I am willing to buy it

Not really, it didn't sound quite as good as the factory one in to my ears. That's something i've noticed, in Toyota's, lexus's and many german cars, the factory headunit sounds really good actually.

designed ones are better, coz you get a built in wiring harness and more importantly, your steering wheel audio control buttons will work as normal. the problem is that the designed ones dont sound as good as the stock one. whatever head unit you buy, make sure you get one that support steering wheel button so you can find a wiring harness to go with it. or buy a dash kit like this www.amazon.com/Metra-99-8218-Toyota-Camry-2007-UP/dp/B000LPU9XM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331640818&sr=8-1 then you can install the one you like

In Australia, the v6 camry's are called aurion and they dont have the lower compartment and didn't offer the aux port or bluetooth in factory head unit. But i know what you mean, That's US camry
