Do you gain (obviously, aside from better airflow) more hp, torque, mpg, throttle response, and better sound, or just certain things? I feel like this could be an install I could possibly do myself, so just curious. And if my Titan has been tuned (upRev), will I need to do that again or anything else when upgrading the throttle body? Sorry for the basic question. I am just starting to dive into things that I can possibly do myself to increase overall performance on my 2010 Titan LE. (I've done a Volant Cold air intake, that's it though) And I like how the link to Amazon says immediately that the throttle body isn't compatible with a Titan, but yet here you are making it work! Yet what led you to choose this throttle body in particular? Thanks in advance!

I don't have numbers but acceleration feels faster. It sounds good. You will need the adapter kit to make it work and an uprev refresh specific for the throttle body. This one is proven to work and there is an adapter kit and reflash available for it.

Hi, its a 2014. You need a regular uprev tune, then have it retuned for the throttle body. Buy it from uprev.com and say that you have or will be getting a bigger throttle body.kzbin.info/www/bejne/o4mcl42BaLWmmpIsi=NoRrO3SF-T3_R_bZ

Really confused on the coolant bypass part, where do you put the bypass fitting and all of that?

The kit comes with a barb. Just take the two hoses off of the oem throttle body and put them together. The hoses are below the lower left of the TB.

Hows the daily driving characteristics now that you've had this on for a but? Is the stalling issue resolved by now or is it something you're still dealing with? I'm very interested in this kit and I contacted performance already. I'm located in a cold weather climate and I really enjoy the remote starting.

Not a lot different. Power is very responsive. The cold start issue is not present above about 15 deg celsius so not an issue over the summer but it might start to get slightly annoying as fall and winter are coming.

@@TitanTown I have read that you can drill a 3/16 of an inch hole hole centered above the throttle plate bar and it's supposed to resolve that issue. Have you heard anything about this?

Yeah i've heard of people trying. It may also change the idle and affect the tune though. I haven't had an issue in about 3 months but think it will come back once its cold. I might try something then.

@@TitanTownprobably the better path, I’ve seen a tutorial to install shift kit and it looks easy to mess it upz 800 is hard to swallow, but level 10 is trusted

I noticed the whistle as well with 90mm. If I don’t do the idle air relearn will that mess up the tune?

@@ivand5527 it will still work. The ecu is always actively learning. I think the procedure just helps it learn quicker

My truck is having issues running and would not rev while park, it takes couple of time turning it on and off to get the throttle body to respond and runs. Could it be a bad throttle body, because I ran it

Did you install uprev? Contact your tuner he might be able to fix it.

Not well in the winter. It works fine when it's above about 15c. Bow that and I have to hold gas pedal a little when it first starts.

Interesting but I personally can't see it being worth it due to the stock intake manifold and cost. it will increase throttle response but I don't think you'll see big hp gains.

Titan don't have bolt on horsepower gains, ECU don't allow

Don't you need change the intake manifold?? You only gaining 3mm .

3mm dia. Air is measured by volume not diam. so that 3mm makes a difference. I have been working on a new intake manifold that will be installed this spring. The extra width of the bigger throttle body also makes up for the lost volume of the throttle body butterfly.

Bigger Tb with a not ported intake 🤔 not going to see hardly any difference. Most likely why he sales the tune to make you think it done something that it really is. Stock intake hole with a bigger TB no power gain at all

The stock intake hole is already bigger than the oem throttle body. in the video I show you the different sizes of the intake, old throttle body and new throttle body.
