Nissan Titan UpRev Performance Tune Install and Data Logging -Custom Tuning Nissan Titan

After installing new headers and exhaust I wanted a custom tune for my truck. I emailed Cajun tuning to help me out and supply what I needed. Joe was super helpful and walked me through the whole process. He supplied me the cable kit and step by step instruction.
I sent him the logs and he would adjust the tunes from the information I was sending him. He only tunes Nissan V8 engines so he knows a lot about them. My truck is running better than ever. Thanks Cajun Tuning

I have headers coming within the next week I need to order some B pipes through Cajun I just don't know what ones to get the 2.5" high flow cats or the cattless resonators.

It's up to you. If you get smog checked you'll need them. I have Berk's B-pipes with the high flow cats that I purchased 7 or 8 years ago off of Titan Talk forum. If I was buying them again I would get the Cajun cattless ones. Good luck with what ever you choose.

I have a very similar Titan...2008 KC, LWB, LE...2WD, however...Cajun B Pipes...JBA headers....Uprev...truck is fast, worse gas mileage. I have a heavy foot.

I want to add headers and exhaust to my 2014 Pro4x. I want more power of course but also fuel efficiency and maintain my factory warranty since i have less than 27000 miles. What parts would you suggest ? I do not want any trouble codes because of this mod.

So I'm understanding tunes are selected with the cruise control buttons.. how does this work? Does it affect cruise control is cruise control lost with up rev? Is there another way to select tunes maybe through the 4x4 switch in my case since my truck is 2wd? I stuck a 4x4 switch in the hole because my blank plug broke off.. the plug for the 4x4 switch is back there on my 2wd truck. Plugged in the switch is illuminated.. there's several wires, if I get uprev programed, I'd like to utilize the 4x4 switch for tune selection.. I don't know about interfering with my cruise control switches.. someone fill me in on how this all would work once installed.... I'm down with uprev just skeptical about it overiding the buttons to a factory feature to implement the tunes . Atleast can a add on control switch be installed for it. Or is cruise control buttons only way to operate it? Don't have it yet just want some details before I invest . Thanks

It does not effect your cruise control at all your it will still work as normal.

Sorry to hear about the incident with the drunk driver. I just bought an '04 that's already all set-up. Do you know if there is a way to tell which tune is currently selected?

Just reenter the tune and count how many times the cruise light blinks. Have fun. I plan on tuning my 2020 titan after the warranty expires. Thanks

Hey Nick, is there any performance increase with just the base tune by itself? Or is that just a stock for data logging and sending results back to your tuner? (I commented on your other video about a month ago. Finally knocked out my JBA LT's and 3" exhaust...it's fun now, but cannot wait for the tune.)

Cory Heath, I could not tell I'm sure it's just a safe tune so you don't run lean. You can definitely tell the difference when you put it on the performance tune once it is complete.

I'm about to do this to my 2005 titan 4x4 because my manifolds cracked and cats clogged. All that shit is easy to me except the tuning, I have done LS stuff but that's cake. Does this guy literally just take your logs and base off what your truck is doing similar to a live tune? Seems a little like a pain in the ass but as long as I can get it running and at least run the base tune and be safe and driveable thats fine. But I do tow a lot have the Big tow and I use the hell out of my 05.. honestly probably on the edge of total abuse pulling 3 times the trucks rating.

Yes he reads your data logs and makes up to 5 different tunes for your Titan. I only used two of the 3 that I had made. Basically one for towing and one for performance. Hey i put uprev on my 2004 nissan titan has straight headers, cold air intake and dual exhaust. I keep getting a service light for air fuel sensor bank 1 and 2.

Kevin Hairston I have had 3 check engine lights since first installing the headers. First time Uprev on laptop said Bank 2 slow response from O2 sensor. I was able to clear it with uprev. The last two times I just did a quick turn on the ignition (not running engine) count to 3 depressed and let off gas pedal 5 times, count to 10 step on the gas pedal count to 12 before letting it up, count to 10 depressed gas pedal again count to 10 let off pedal turn key off, turn key back on and the code should be gone. Found that technique on Google and it works. Good luck

Regis Riley not sure you'll have to ask whom ever helps you with your tune. The base tune they send you right away is a safe everyday driving tune. You could just stick with that.

It's highly recommended otherwise you might run too lean and take out the engine.

Nick, so it's been a few years since you posted this video. I am considering the Cajun system headers to tailpipe for my 2012. Since you posted this video what is your long term review of Cajun performance and reliability? Would you install the same system over again or do something different?

Cajun's stuff is great hate to tell you though gas milage will not get any better I've had mine on for 3-4 years no difference in gas milage uprev didnt do anything for gas milage either

yes it's necessary to tune a titan after headers. your motor will run lean and blow if you try to run no tune
