Keep up the great work! I like to have it clean and minimalistic. 😊 can I just delete all Luts of the cameras I am not using in the Lut folder? Will DaVinci reinstall them with updates?

Could of went deeper with that. It's not as easy as selecting and adding the lut. More detail on color space transform etc.. as thats where I get confused.

regarding the last comment about LUTs being designed to work from a particular color space (to the transformation in the LUT), is that typically Rec 709, and if so, does that conversion happen automatically to Rec 709 first, when using a LUT?

Hello! Great questions. There is no standard for the colour space that luts are designed to work with. It's down to the user to make sure that the footage is colour managed into the correct colour space before applying a LUT. Thanks for the video. Quick question for you. The film emulation LUTs in Resolve looke "weird" if i am using Davinci Color Managed and DaVinci Wide Gamut / Intermediate as the timeline color space. Do I need to use a CST before the film emulation LUT? If so, what color space and gamma should I change from and change to? Thanks in advance.

How do you know what color space a lut is made for?

It's not always possible to tell. Sometimes the file name lets you know. Other times there are comments inside the file. And if there is neither... then you just have to guess!
