Keith if there's gripper on tread n riser say 10mm but carpet is say 15mm in pile that's doubled to 30mm tucking into groove so 10mm will b surely too tight

So keith 10mm is 0.39 inch 15mm is 0.591 inch 30mm 1.181 inch so there's 1.181 inch squeezing into 0.39 which most people say is fine
