Great how-to video! I bought a fog light kit from you guys for my 2004 Nissan Frontier. This video certainly gives me confidence to do the install correctly. I have one lingering question that is preventing me from beginning though. Besides the 15A fuse for the fuse tap, WHAT WAS THE OTHER FUSE USED ON THE TAP? Someone commented a 5A. It looks like a 5A, but I'm not certain it was. Thank you in advance for the helpful feedback.

Hello, my car is the 2008 Camry LE. I see that my car came with a 15amp fog light fuse inside the car, could I use that fuse to power the fog light or I have to buy an add-a-fuse to powered it in the tail light fuse like shown in the video? Thank you!

I bought and installed this on an 07 Camry and it worked. I noticed that it looks like you pulled the 15 amp fuse and placed it on the top of the add a fuse circuit, however everything else I’ve read states that the pulled fuse should be on the bottom, and the smaller amp fuse on the top. Does it matter?

on camry hybrid they have electronic gas lid release and eco heat/cool switch on the slot where you are going to install the aftermarket fog light switch. the only fix is to cut the hole near the other switches that is illustrated as a vertical rectangular box. the switch will look protruding not flush.

There is a connector hanging down on both sides near the fog lamps. Is this pre-installed OEM wiring for the fog lights?

After months of research those connectors are available but you will need the OEM blinker stalk, and the OEM relay to use it that way. The reason no one goes for that is you have to remove the steering wheel and air bag assembly to replace the stalk

My 2007 Camry was prewired for fog lights but was missing a few wires and relay. The wires that were missing power the relay and ground the relay. I needed oem relay, and needed to add 3 wires with female pins to oem wire harness connectors inside the car next to fuse box. Not easy to do, but doable. Connector IL pin 3 needs to go to connector IL pin 4. Connector II pin 8 needs to go to ground (I connected my button to this wire so the button grounds the fog light relay and turns fog lights on.

@@AeolusCE07 oem stalk not needed, but an oem relay, 3 wires with female pins. add to oem harness connector II pin 3 to 4 and connector IL pin 8 to ground (that is the hard part). Have to go to junk yard and get relay and wire connectors to scavenge female pins for connector II and IL. Depending on the year of your car connecter II =AI=1I, IL=AL=1L

The only place you should install the fog light fuse is the low beam circuit. The reason for this is because there is by-law , the fog light can only work on low beam , not with high beam . So tail light fuse is not a good ideal ..

I installed fog lights on my Toyota corolla 2013 and everything works well but the only thing that’s concerning me right now is that the switch (button) stays on even when the car is completely off and the key is not in the ignition. Do you know what could be wrong? Thank you!

Instead of using the add-a-fuse that you used, would the fog lights work if i connected that power wire directly to the battery just like the first one. I know they would be on with the ignition off and I would have to use only the switch to turn them off but would that work?

+Danyal Muhammad If the wiring is there from the factory you may be able to add a factory switch and possibly a fuse or relay to make the circuit active. The dealership might be able to tell you what else is needed. We also sell just the fog lights. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com

+anglngr9 If your car has fog lights installed from the factory you can just use the fog lights from the kit and connect them to your factory wire harness. Thank you for your answer, my car didnt come equipped with fog lights from factory is just that in your video you can see the cable there, and in my car is also there, my question is if the wiring is there already, there has to be a way to make use of them, I searched online and they say those cables are there cause toyota doesnt want to do extra work taking them out, they just put them there but they go nowhere. I wish there was someone that uses the preinstalled wiring and showed us how to use them.

1A Auto Parts would you have to run all that wiring if you just plug it into the harness that's already there? Then the lights would just come on when you turn on the headlights with no switch to push,

+Tommy Sands If your car didn't come with the headlight option but the harness is there you should be able to plug the fog lights in add the correct switch, you may also want to ask the dealer what else would be needed to enable the option. Sometimes you also may need to add a fuse or a relay the fuse box. Hope this helps you out.
