Guys, if only the v4, v5, v6 options are showing for you, remove you’re SD card, push the little lever/button on the side of the SD card (this unlocks the card for editing) and put it back in and try again. Install it again and the 52/53 options should be there now. :)

I like your videos a lot. This doesn't seem to be a complete tutorial though, as it assumes you already have homebrew channel installed. I think it might have been a touch more useful had it started from a fresh, untouched Wii, through to having cios installed.

My usb loader was working fine this morning. Now when I go to homebrew channel and click on the usb loader it just goes to a black screen for a few second then back to homebrew channel.

Hi James, while install cIOS slot 249, Downloading IOS56 metadata was DONE, but downloading all other contents (tmd files etc.) was timeout, and slot 249 con't be installed. What is the problem? In addition in my installation map, slots 222, 223, 224, 236, 245, 246, 247, 248 ff. are red. Should be first install all other slots and then install slot 249? Thanks! YD

I can confirm that to fix a failed installation because of network connection problems; power down, unplug power supply, power up console, and try again.

Josh Kelly i used the Wiimote Plus (wiimote with wii motion plus) and it worked fine. you can do it. if not, it'll just turn off. if that happens, maybe try a GCN controller

Hello. I am having an issues getting D2X CIOS installed. I didn't see the note about needing D2X CIOS downloaded first so I already installed USBLoaderGX. I'm going back to install D2X CIOS but my SD card will not read it when I put it in the wii. U put it in the wrong USB if you put the wii on its side so the disc drive where u put games in is at the top, put the USB in the bottom port

Hi I just used this tutorial and it worked and I was able to play wii sports resort on USB loader gx. Later, I saw one of my games needed a software updated, so I updated it and now whenever I want to play wii sports resort on USB loader GX the wii remote disconnects like 10 seconds after launching the game. So I tried many times to go back into cios installer and putting the same settings I put in the first time, and my wii remote still disconnects part way through play wii sports resort. So, I thought it would solve it if I just reinstalled cios installer, but I'm worried that will brick my wii. Do you know what I can do to solve this problem? Thank you:)

Be sure that your SD card is formatted to a FAT32. I had te same issue, but this helped me!
