I'd definitely recommend soldering the connections if you can. I installed the rear bumper reflector lights and I soldered all the connections. I should have tested all the wires with one of those test lights you have because only the parking lights work. I went off a picture of the wiring diagram that someone posted on Fusion 2g forums. But I could have saved myself some time if I had used a test light. It's easy enough to unsolder the wires and switch them if I care that much about it.

I totally agree. But reason i used electric tape is because imma have to tap in to the turn signal wire for my custom headlights then ill soldered.

What's up, thanks for the video. I just got my lights and was reviewing your instructions. The harness I have has a green and white wire on the DRL. The white is supposed to be a dimmer. I'm assuming the green is the L turn signal. What do I do with the white wire?

Yea it’ll still. You can wire them to your headlights that’s what I did.
