Not sure I trust myself with a torch😬. Will stick with a heat gun! Great lesson; you apply graphics almost as quickly as you dismount and mount tires!

Put the graphics on wet and your alignment will be absolutely perfect every time and no bubbles. Use a heat gun and a squeegee and they stick just as good as putting them on dry.

If they wanted to do it that way.. they would of made the damn video that way.. they didnt.. There's always that one guy online, egos sooo big he's gotta run it out no matter what the case is. 🤦♂️
@a_drewski2 ай бұрын
@@idecidenotyouno ego here bud. Jay has been doing this for 30+ years and sometimes his graphics still come out crooked. Average buy doesn’t do this everyday so applying graphics wet is a lot more forgiving when it comes to placement and removing bubbles.

@@a_drewski again ego issues dude.. the pathetic response that you followed up on only insured the one I left was spot on..

A few drops of dish soap/water in squirt bottle, hair dryer, squeegee. I've had good luck also with Equate Hand Sanitizer

Feel like the graphics would look better with clear material layed on the original plastics so the original color of the plastics comes through with the logos peppered on
@Coldhart2249 ай бұрын
Would you recommend putting the graphics on the plastics while it’s on the bike ? Or would it be better to put them on if you just had the plastics off the bike? Thx

do not use paper towels for cleaning, they are not suitable they absorb the cleaning agent and begin to leave behind debris, a microfiber cloth should be used each time you clean in addition, the stickers must be glued from one edge to the other to push out the air, and not to run it over the fork with your hand

I just keep my bikes with their stock graphics, my desert racing days are behind me as is the sponsorship decals. Makes me chuckle when i see someone with a complete graphics kit like this when you know darn well that if they use 20% of all items listed it would be a miracle. Just my opinion. 😊
