So glad you enjoyed this one! I believe this model is the same as the E330. The S330 and E330 are the same product, but the S comes with an indoor chime.

@@asksafewise thanks. And also, evidently, the s330 has “loitering detection “. So, probably since we do have a homebase 3 and don’t have people loitering at our door we will get the cheaper (and newer) e330. The think that will probably make it NOT an option for us, is we have a screen door which will block the camera and/or have to go through the glass causing reflections . Bummer on that. Have you tried a camera like this through glass on a screen door ? Cameras through windows are normally a nightmare at light even with infrared turned off. Interesting! From what I understand, the s330 and e330 are the same lock but come with different extras. Maybe that chime adds something to the device so it's able to detect loiterers. From what I've seen so far, the closest the e330 (the one without the chime) has is "human detection". I've set it off multiple times already from shoveling snow in our driveway. As for cameras through glass on a screen door? You may be better off just installing a simple outdoor camera around your door or looking for a dedicated doorbell camera to watch your front porch. Night vision gets really shoddy when looking through glass, so you're better off with a camera outside. Hope that helps!

@@asksafewise it took me watching 20 installation videos to catch the loiter detect difference. But, yes, since I do not care about that and have homebase 3, the e330 is better choice. But, YES, catch 22 (after watching 30 videos ) was the screen door. And, yes, probably a regular doorbell camera or putting a Eufy battery camera outside.
