hey! I know I'm about 3 years late but I just had these same tail lights delivered yesterday and I'm having some fitment issues. both sides for the outers, I get a pretty noticeable gap and these things will not sit flush. I compared them to the OEM ones and it seems the Euros have these odd notches on the bottom where it meets the bumper. not sure if that's what's causing the issue or if maybe I'm just doing something wrong. did you experience this as well? wondering if I need to maybe shave them down so they'll sit flush. any tips would help as I can't find any info on this online.

My lights fit perfectly. Only thing that I had to modify was the electrical connector as shown in the video. Did you buy OEM lights? Mine were OEM and fit identical to stock.

@@FocusedGarage no kidding! and yeah, mine are OEM. got them from DAP and they had to be imported from europe

Do you think an OEM red red 2012 VW GLI (62,000 mi) with factory clear coat could use your Torque product? If not, what other fine finishing products do you recommend? My car gets plenty of UV, in Colorado but otherwise has a great shine, Please advise. I want to keep my speed manual before they stop making them for ever! Sigh.

I'd look into getting the car ceramic coated!

Did you need a writing or coding?

I’d like to see it coded with the yellow lights. And is there a way to have them run dynamic wise like the new facelift tails? I’ve seen the “other” dynamic where the inner lights up then the outer. That’s NOT what I’m looking for. I’ve seen a video where it actually runs just like a dynamic facelift tails do. If so and there is a code for it, leave the link?

I know there's harnesses you can buy for these that make them dynamic. I haven't tried any out yet, but I still plan to.

Do you have a link to a harness to get the amber light working? This would be a requirement here in NZ 😊
