How to Install Euro LED Taillights on VW GTI MK7

Another DIY video for you guys for Project MK7. Finally we start to add some cosmetic flare to the car with the European LED Taillights for the MK7 platform. Completly changes the way the car looks. Nice vid. Have the same exact car, just installed the new MK7.5 tails and couldn’t be happier. I swear those damn clips within the boot are nearly impossible to release without breaking. I ended up breaking both sadly, but I found another solution other than replacing the boots altogether. If you use Flex Seal you can seal up the gap between the car and boot pretty nicely. Takes some time to dry but it does the job. It’s also unnoticeable since you can wipe off any excess sealant you don’t need. Would highly recommend this to anyone else looking for another solution other than replacing the boot. It’s cheaper and much easier (only about $10 on Amazon)

Thought that the indicators were the sweeping type. I would not have gone to all that trouble to just have led lights. People only normally only go through all that work to have the sweeping sequential indicators. The lights look nice on the golf but it would of looked nicer if the turn signals sweeper. Ya golf is still nice though.

Yes when you order the tail lights from BMP Tuning, they will also sell the wiring harness with coding instructions in order to make it all work correctly

Not at all everything comes with instructions but before installing everything, i would suggest doing come research on how to install the wiring harness because that was the most difficult part.
