I dnt know if u know it but if u cut and the waste is on the down side of the cutters it leaves you with a smoother cut

Hi I am installing solar panels on metal roof in India, I wish to use ridge cap purlins for installing aluminium rails, these aluminium rails will be installed perpendicular to existing purlins, thereby cutting small portions on the ridge caps from the edges . Please confirm if this is the right thing to do with the ridge cap.?

Don't come to Queensland and cap a house like that as will get knocked back, I know that you can get away with shed roofing on houses in NSW and VIC. Trivial, but that Capping was known as "Three Break".
