The link you have for fuel it, don’t need to add on a flex fuel sensor right?

We provided a link in our video description for the sensor needed. You can find it here: www.amazon.com/ACDelco-13507128-Original-Equipment-Sensor/dp/B073ZQ1G2P

What is the purpose of selecting the GM flex fuel sensor?

These are the sensors that Fuel-It requires for their device to operate properly.

Is there a reason you guys used Oetiker clamps instead of just hose clamps that are screw down, like what's on the intercooler piping, for example? EDIT: ( 2:25 ) Also, where you did you get the brown connector? Does it come with the Fuel-It analyzer or do I need to buy that separately?
@034MotorsportUncut2 жыл бұрын
Oetiker clamps are the only correct clamp for EFI fuel lines like these. Generic hose clamps are not safe for use in applications like this. All wiring connectors were from Fuel-It

New to Audi stuff but I have a B9 SQ5 I'd like to put on E85. So the ethanol content sensor doesn't wire into the ecu for datalogging, flex fuel maps, ect like most cars its just strictly for a gauge im assuming? My other vehicles are on E85 with GM content sensors so I know all of my local pumps are 70-75% on average. Knowing that information should I even bother installing another sensor?
@034MotorsportUncut2 жыл бұрын
Installing an ethanol content sensor is 99% for peace of mind and ease of switching fuels. With the sensor, you can tell exactly when your car is ready to switch to or from ethanol.

I can't find these clamps at local auto stores, which ones do I need to order on Amazon? They give two clamp sizes, one open and one closed. I'm lost haha.

@@034MotorsportUncut ok great thanks cause the sizes they sent me with kit are 15.3mm and 14.8mm. fuel it Website says it should work with 5/16 inch hoses. I'll give them a shot first unless you think I'd be wasting my time. Cheers!

With the positive wire connected to the positive terminal block, will it deplete the battery over time?

Can I use normal hose claps?

High-Quality hose clamps of the proper size can potentially be used.

So you don't recommend finding the fuel pump fuse and letting the car stall out to relieve the fuel pressure?
@034MotorsportUncut2 жыл бұрын
It is not required as shown in the video. By loosening the 14mm flange nut and allowing pressure to bleed there, it allows for much less fuel to come out when removing the rubber hose.
