i got these FXR's for my CBR500 but im having difficult getting the brake lever high enough and my ankle is fairly bent just resting on it.

I am unfamiliar with the model for the CBR500 but here are a couple of tips based on all the common parts that FXR's share: You can adjust the master cylinder to lever junction to raise the lever. Leaving more threads exposed will raise the lever. Make sure to have at least the minimum thread engagement on the master cylinder as prescribed by the user manual, otherwise your setup will be unsafe. You can also move the toe piece closer to the peg and that should raise the contact point . You should have three positions for the toe piece. The closest one to the peg is the highest. Please let me know if that helped.

im just a bit confused on wether the flat parts of the excentric need to be facing up or the round surface facing up, i wasnt sure what the manual was trying to say about this when it mentions "cancelled range"

That would be more of a French pronunciation. The company is located in Luxembourg. When speaking the name of the company we try to mimic how it's employees pronounce it.
