This is awesome, I just got a noahlink delivered last week. A video series like this is exactly what I'm looking for. Thankyou so very much!

I really appreciate your videos on YT. I got my hearing tested at Costco last week; they are telling me because the differences in hearing in my right ear that I would need to be evaluated by an ENT or audiologist before they would sell me the aids. Does that sound right? Also they recommended me for the Philips 9040 but did not mention that it came with the portable charger. I have attached the test in the email that I sent you & would appreciate your feedback. I won't share this information with Costco. Thanks.

Ya that sounds right. Having an asymmetrical hearing loss is one of the red flags that require a visit to an actual physician or ENT.

Brian Thank you for your video. you had said that programing hearing aids wasn't previously available. I had programed the hearing aids I bought from America Hears about 16 years ago. The program it came with worked well. I stopped using them when the price went up. Right now I have the Phillips 9010 and I am do for my new pair in December. I like your video about programing the hearing aids. If this is possible with the new 9050 I would be interested in programming them. I was a music teacher and I cannot get the sound of the piano to sound right. I hope this would be a solution. TY

I think this is great. I've been wondering if this could be available. However, when I go to the Philips website link, it gives me a history, and indicates to get a download link I have to go to my local sales representative. Where is the link?

I’m still waiting for a response from Philips but you can grab it on my website in the forums.

Brian, quick question. I went to the Amazon link that you described as being for the Noahlink Wireless 2, but it looks like that link is for not for the 2 model. Can you confirm what exactly the model is that you get via that link? Also does it really matter if it's the Wireless 2 or the original Wireless model? Thanks!
@HearingClub9 ай бұрын
Ya I’m gonna have to change that. There IS a Noahlink wireless 2 but the only one you can get online, easily, would be the gosling wireless 1. I have the 1, I do not have the 2. I may just update the description to help with the confusion. The original noahkink 1 will work.

Amazon doesn’t stock that Noah link anymore. Are there any other devices that will do the job?

Brian, any idea if Philips HearLink might be compatible with Oticon? I have a pair of Oticon OPN S I would like to examine.
@HearingClub7 ай бұрын
If you are talking about the fitting software, it’s not. You need the oticon fitting software.

Is there a similar way to adjust the Phonak Brio's? My dad was recently told by the Costco audiologist that they would no longer update his HA's settings in accordance to the latest audiogram results (minor worsening across the board) because it was purchased over 5 years ago. We had no idea there was a maximum support period for these things and it's disappointing to say the least. He did try the 9040s but returned it because of connectivity issues and lack of hands free support for Android.
@HearingClub9 ай бұрын
There should be no period like that. I think what they meant was after 5 years, the manufacturer will no longer repair the hearing aids. You should get adjustments for the lifetime of the hearing aids. At my Costco, we still program and adjust 10 year old hearing aids.

Hi Brian, I want to get a Philips (not Roku) tv streamer but don't want to pay the Costco price. Do you know if I can use the Oticon 3.0 streamer successfully? I have had my 9040's for 3 days now and I love them! Thanks
@HearingClub8 ай бұрын
I’m sure you can, with the Jabra Beltone and resound hearing aids, they all use the same streamer. I just don’t know 100%

Do not buy the device. The software is no longer available: Thank you for reaching out to Philips Hearing Solutions. The fitting software is only available to authorized Hearing Care Professionals. Any repairs or programming must be done by your Costco provider.
