Compressing the KYB Just-a-Just shocks is really challenging. Took me several tries to fit them.

I had to remove lower control arms to replace bushings and decided to replace shocks as well. Is it easier to install bottom side first or top side? The new shops are tied down (compressed) so I can release and extend once I top or bottom is secured.

I know im probably very late but I secured the bottom of the strut with a bolt and nut (hand tight) just to hold it still as I tighten the top end, then tighten the bottom fully.

at 40 seconds what is the bushing called that sits in the fender for the shock threads? I have new QA1 shocks for my Dart. The bushings are too small that come with it and the old ones crumbled apart.

I'm sure you figured it out by now (you had four years), but just in case this helps anyone else: "Upper Shock Absorber Bushings" (part # MN38100), or from Mancini: "Upper Shock Tower Bushings" (part # MRE2206923). I THINK they're pretty much the same part.
