How to install LED Flushmount Turn Signals on a 17-20 Yamaha FZ-09 by TST Industries

Wrong info for the 2018 MT-09 front right wiring connections. At 16:25, the black/red and brown/yellow are connected. This is correct for the left side only. On the right side only, it was black/blue and red/yellow. The TST videos make all the mods I've done way easy. This little error is either a new bike update or an error by Yamaha on my bike only. Thanks.

It sounds like you made a mistake in connecting to your bike. Please watch our video that is meant for clarification of all the combinations of wires kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3-Vg5aOYtunj6s . I think that your scenario on the side that you used the blue wire on follows the scheme described at 4:06 in this video I just gave you a link to.

Correct. That is what happened when I followed these instructions on this video. My blue on the right side was used unlike this video. I connected the black with the blue and it all works great. Thanks.

I put the smoked version on my 09 and they are very difficult to see during the day. I can’t tell you how many people have cut me off because they couldn’t see my turn signal until I was very close. Night time isn’t an issue obviously but they are definitely hard to see in daylight

I think you should discontinue use immediately if you think that people are cutting you off due to poor visibility.

I am interested in buying the flush mount signals as well as the bar end signals for my 18 Mt09. Is this possible? Will it still be a plug and play process? Will I need to purchase something additional to have four front signals as opposed to the two front signals?

Depending on whether the bar end signals are plug-and-play or not, you may be able to use our Y-Style Harness Splitter to retain all OEM connections and use 4 signals in pair.

If you are asking about electrical installation then yes. However, the physical installation is a bit different. You need adapter plates that transform the signal well from Yamaha signal shape to accepting the pod signal stud shape. If you are doing some other signals that we don't sell then you can still get the adapter plates and harness converters from us.
