Hi Saurav. I did an installation on a new server I use for testing applications, but I'm unable to run NAV. I have pointed to an existing SQl Server, but cannot run the application. Any ideas. I know the SQL server is running, the NAV Server services are active.

this is erroe message am getting sql server instance exit but a connectin could not be established. verify that sql server is running that TCP/IP protocol is enable and that a login exit for your window account

@rich harry, Open SQL Server Configuration manager. Navigate to Protocol section make sure TCP/IP is enabled. Once enabled then restart SQL Services.

What operation system you have. This error is related to web client server, so If you don't need web client to be installed then you can skip that component during installation.
