Wait, did that Balis not come originally? I seen you have to mount it does that mean there wasn’t a place that you are mounted it from when changing the bulb?

This guy said he was removing the passenger side first when in fact it was the driver side he did first. He also said you turn cap to the right to remove it when in fact it’s to the left.

Why did you skip the air box part?
@TheKingOfHalo4 жыл бұрын
Does that year use the same projector for hids and halogen bulbs? I know they were both options from the factory. I just don’t want to cause glare when I put an hid bulb into my 2017 that originally came with halogens because the projectors are different.

You started on the driver side. That's the side with the washer fluid fill aka the left side of the vehicle. No problem.

Why you dont show how to remove air box step by step? Cause i pull apart every parts except the sealed silicon plastic thing in the bottom of the box! The most annoying piece that i couldnt remove

Did you need a relay harness when you installed? I installed mine without one, light would power up then shut off.
@arturoorozco89033 жыл бұрын
What did you do to fix the problem.... I installed mine , did the test everything worked fine.Then at night when I turn the truck they turned on then turn off. Drove home with my high beam on and when I got home I check my low beams they where on. Looks to have a delay turning n on.

@@arturoorozco8903 I called the manufacturer of the HID kit I bought and they sent me the correct ballast that works with DRL. I would double check to make sure you don’t have a wire in the wrong place

Did you mean Driver Side when you started
@gregmcintosh2328 жыл бұрын
If you are dissecting your harness to make the connections work you bought the wrong setup. Everything should flow properly without compromising the integrity of the wiring. This is a low budget setup example.

How do I do the passenger side
@gregmcintosh2328 жыл бұрын
Further, 2015-16-17 Tahoe suburban etc. no dash cancel is necessary but a relay is a must along with power from the battery. This guys setup has factory wiring fried by now.

Was going to add 9005 (high beam) HID to my 2017 Tahoe. High beams very yellow from the factory, but did not want to add any additional wiring items or create issues. Had added HID to my 2007 Tahoe without any additional items. Is this still a concern?

what happened to dust cap ? because some wires will be run out !!!!
@Hidlightreviews9 жыл бұрын
I noted the wiring in the description. (My bad...) You need to drill a 1" hole in the back of the dust cap to run the wired through
@iwarshaty64949 жыл бұрын
OK, now it is clear. In fact your explanation is brief but clear. I advise you to fill the one inch hole by anything just to insulate inner headlight against dusty or rainy weather. Thx,
@gregmcintosh2328 жыл бұрын
The hole you drill in the dust cover should be close as possible to 24 mm. Just shy of an inch for a tight gromet fit.
