Thanks for the guide. It got Jak and Daxter working for me! I just have a couple questions to see if it can be improved. 1. Can download speeds be increased when in ps3cv? 2. Once downloaded is there a way to increase the install speed when you go into the ps3 interface? Right now install speeds are incredibly slow, hours to install just a couple gigs (not download, just installing).

Hello, thank you for your questions. Regarding the speed issue, I suggest posting your questions to the development team. From my findings, the speed is slow on the PS3 as well. However, if you change the servers to the NoPayStation, the speed is no longer an issue. The game selection would now be the main concern. As for the installation process, until RPCS3 has full XMB support, it will install slowly due to the fact that it’s only emulating a single thread to process the installation and/or run the media bar. I suggest installing using the drag and drop method until they have full support. I hope this answers your questions.

I also downloaded a PS1 game, but when I play it, it consumes all my CPU, which does not happen with other PS3 games, I also downloaded the "Sirius XM" application but it only keeps building SPU Cache. Thanks for the video.

That is correct, what i found is when you install from folder emulator sit in a loop waiting to complete the install process, so if you ever went in to the xmb then it would overwrite your game again taking time and you can't stop either. so its just simpler that way

Is it possible to get ps3 games with this ? Or is this only ps2 or is this really ps3 games , felt like some of these game sizes looked too small like 4gb for the godfather

From what I understand, it’s possible to obtain both PS2 and PS3 games, as well as applications that operate on the PS3. However, this seems to apply more to PSN content rather than disc-based games, which could explain any differences in file size.

Well you need to move the \dev_hdd0\exdata to the \dev_hdd0\home\00000001\exdata and it should fix your license issue

well not sure that this video would help out with real hardware as this is the emulator, but the issue your having is the Eboot.bin is not signed correctly easy fix is download update and install, might want go to there discord

As it currently stands, the XMB emulation is incomplete and only operates on a single core. Until the multi-core emulation is fully developed, I don’t foresee it functioning properly. Ok, this: \dev_hdd0\exdata to \dev_hdd0\home\00000001\exdata 1. game was not there it was in \dev_hdd0\VSH\game_pkg folder 2. where it suppose to go \dev_hdd0\home\00000001\exdata , well RPCS3 is not reading from there. 2. so where exactly the game suppose to go?

I'm confused on what are you asking ? are you trying to install the downloaded game ? manually? the game once downloaded go to \dev_hdd0\vsh\game_pkg\80000002 and if your trying to install them then you have to run xmb or you can drag the pkg to the main window on the emulator but you have to make sure you install rap to \dev_hdd0\home\00000001\exdata for it to boot

okay i see the problem right away, RPCS3 does not support PSP games as of right now this game will not work so far i have only gotten ps1 and ps3 game to boot i hope this helps
