How to Install Radeon RX 570 graphics card

So it is now time to install the new graphics card. In the process of installation I discovered that it only needs one 6-pin power cable rather than 6-pin + 2-pin. So my old power supply could have worked too (if it wasn't broken). Look forward to seeing what kind of difference it makes to the games!

To me cable management only really matters if you are doing it for flash window case cosmetics or you are in and out of the case regularly changing components. Otherwise if the cables aren't blocking airflow or catching in fans it doesn't matter once that metal side cover is back on.

Great video, but please work on the Cables, like just tidy it up a little as that helps so much.. you'll get better performance if the GPU/CPU have some space to breath as the wires are all over the place and that restricts air flow.

I think you’re taking offense to people commenting about the cable management. Nice tutorial... but there’s reasons it’s a thing. Your PC may be working as it should but this is extremely dangerous and is just not good practice especially the cable near the fan. Just clean up a bit and you’ll see the benefit. Other than that, good tutorial!

The GPU pins always come from PSU, if u bought a hpu with pins needed, u need to make sure u have it in ur PSU if not u need new one with more pins :/

I paid 137$ for a Gigabyte vesion of this card. It was abysmaly slower than my Nvidia 660Ti from 4 years ago. So I reinstalled 660Ti. I should have followed my old advice and stayed with Nvidia. Went ahead and purchased a 2070 8gb for 407$ , AMD cards are always glitchy at best. Some folks swear by em, but mainly for crypto mining. Great install vid thou. Thanks.

Could be any number of things. Check that you didn't knock out any connectors when you installed the card. Also try checking the power supply is plugged in properly. Aside from those possibilities, there could be some incompatibility somewhere. Is your power supply unit powerful enough?
