How to Install SPC Adjustable Lower Control Arms BRZ FRS GT86

In this video we go over installing SPC adjustable lower controls arms on my BRZ and the importance of getting adjustable rear toe arms after correcting negative camber in the rear.
** Warning: Do not begin this project unless you are ready to align your vehicle and have the correct hardware. **
I didn't mention it in the video but you can absolutely press the included toe adjuster included into your factory rear toe arms; just make sure to clock it in the correct direction when you press, see here for instructions: bit.ly/2S2XyJO
This requires a ball joint press and potentially SPC's $20 adapter, I need to see if the harbor freight special will work with these. However you could rent a ball joint service kit more than likely from your local auto parts store.

If I decide to use the supplied toe bushings and press them into the stock toe arms, will I have enough adjustability to zero out my toe or maybe even go a little toe-in?

I can't confirm but it was pretty close with the stock arms; I think it's possible, if you go through with it let me know the results. Could be the cheapest way to go about it to fill the gap.

@@MarkMethods I guess it will come down to how low of a drop I do with the coilovers. If too low then it will be hard to correct both toe and camber equally. I'm lowered about 1 inch or so and that caused about -2 negative uncorrectable camber when I was on lowering springs. Now I'm on coils with the same amount of drop, and using the Spc lcas but I didnt install the toe bushings and my alignment buddy was only able to get the toe to -0.03 with -2 camber. Any less camber and the toe would go wayy out. I should have installed them lol. You would think that the spc toe bushings would be able to dial out -0.03 toe. I'll report back when I put em in!

Only if you plan on saving some money and installing the adjustable rear toe arm insert into the factory toe arm. Otherwise you can buy adjustable rear toe arms and you won't need a press.

I was playing with the equalizer, I didn't realize how loud that was; I'll make sure to lower that in the future.
