Good stuff. I tried to use the aswc-1 by itself and had to splice into the factory wires. then after all that work it didn't program properly. I wish I would have known about this adapter beforehand. Anyways, this video really helped me see what to expect when I try again. Thanks!!

I tried to install the axxess Aswc-1 today and it was hell and I still didn't even get it done. I called sonic electronix, crutchfield, metra and I even took it to the shop and they couldn't even figure it out cause for my Altima it has like 3 different ways and none of them worked and I don't want to risk it anymore for $50 but the harness you have in the video I want to try. Where did you purchase yours.

you do NOT! need this interface to install steering controls on a Tacoma, nor do you need it. in my 2011 tacoma it did not even work. don't be fooled like i did . also buying from tacotunes is over priced especially for a interface you do NOT need. so don,t be misled and spend extra money for no reason at all. so i repeat you do NOT need this interface for a Tacoma!
