question on the connection from HT receiver/amp to the shakers SUB-amp. most 3.5mm to RCA cables are stereo with single 3.5mm at one end and a L and R connector at the other end. my HT/RCVR has 2 RCA PRE-OUT jacks labeled 1 and 2 for SUBWOOFER. currently my main SUBWOOFER speaker is connected to SUBWOOFER 1 via a RCA at both ends cable. does it matter using a stereo (L/R) 3.5mm to L and R RCA connectors at SUB-AMP end if I just connect 1 of the RCA connectors to #2 of my HT/RCVR SUBWOOFER PREOUT? I am assuming I may have to test which RCA, L or R needs to be connected at HT/RCVR. I want to basically have AUDIO Bass on PREOUT 1 and Tactile Bass on PREOUT 2 and wondering if a stereo cable between HT/RCVR and SUBAMP matters or need to specifically find a MONO 3.5mm to a single RCA connector type of cable or make one? or find another SUBAMP that is MONO RCA in and L/R RCA out to shaker?

I don't want to compromise the frame of my sofa and drill holes in them, but it's the only place I can mount them to, I'm searching for something that'll clamp around the square frame bar (about 3x3cm) with enough force, any ideas?

I found just having 2 1k watt subs in the room does the same thing, no need to have them in a couch just nest to it or in the same room.

Yes the room will have vibrations. i used to install home theater systems, bass shakers installed in sofa gives out a world of different effects.

bass shaker acts as 4d experience and bass for surround sound too. under $100 for sub amp and bass shaker it's well worth it. My kids love it.
