The tyre liners I bought came with instructions not to overlap the liner and ensure there was a bit of a gap between the two ends. Reviews showed pictures of peoples mangled inner-tubes, I assume because people did not read the instructions. Can now get a similar liner from aliexpress, but without instructions, so came here to see how to install them, but learned nothing. How do you cut them, do you overlap them or cover joint with a tape etc.

After i stalling i got a wobble and the tire is seated correctly on the rim

Does the bike feel heavier with the liner? Also when you’re riding your bicycle, can you feel it moving around in there or making any funny squeaky sounds

I personally cannot feel or hear any differences with the tire liner. The benefit of being less likely to have a flat out weighs any small weight gains in my opinion.
