I’m going to Mount this on my 2023 Outlander, plus a Rear bumper guard. I got ran into at a stop sign from behind a few years ago in my older Outlander and my tow hitch/ball destroyed Their front end but it saved my car. Not a scratch. Well worth the extra weight & money.

Thank so much for this video. I ordered a Vanguard Bull Bar and it had no directions. Also, the bolts that connects the 2 brackets together was short as well it was only 1.5” long. So frustrating. Glad you made this video. Thank you.

Dude, thank you so much for this! I bought the Optimus (with the lightbar added) for my 2017.5 Jeep Compass, and while Vanguard's products themselves are great, their instillation and other available documentation is atrocious. The brackets that mate to the bar itself aren't even shown in any of the documentation (neither instilation nor in the provided parts list), and so it was completely a mystery as to how they intended for you to connect them (it's not intuitive at all). On top of that, they included the 2 bolts that had been welded to the barstock in my kit (in your video they're the pieces that slip inside the bar itself and allow you to mount the bracket to the bar), but on my model bar they already have a bolt welded inside the bar for that purpose (a very frustrating time discovering that particular detail...). So yeah, thanks very much again, you saved me a bunch of time and even more frustration!

I think you don't need a spacer, just switch the bracket to make it wider.

Yes. I was scratching my head multiple times. I switch the brackets all sorts of combos and it does not work. I might have received the wrong brackets or bar.

Yes. Does bring the front low. It's lifted 2 inches. Now with this bar it's back to down 2 inches. Maybe I'll do a 3 inch or more lift next time. 🤔

Yes. I do love it. I would recommend if you are looking for just looks but if you are planning to go off-road keep in mind your clearance is reduced.
