Sir , I have chosen CSTN course and it started just few days before. Our course teacher (windows system administration) says us to organise the setup before starting the course. He told everyone to install windows 11 in VMWare in our laptop But if I download VMWare in my laptop it hangs a lot. So I decide to install it on virtual box which is okay in my laptop. I already have windows 11 in my laptop , so i wanna ask if we already have windows 11 in our laptop, then is there any need to install it on virtual box as well?

Excellent tutorial. Unfortunately, this didn't solve the issue for me (Oracle VM 6.1.28). Also, on restarting the machine, the 2 DWords and the LabConfig folder have disappeared.

You wasn't suppost to restart the machine. Obviously you didn't install windows 11 yet so it has nothing to save that's why it was gone. Your suppost to keep the machine on after you edit the registry and then do the installation.

When you open the setup, press Shift + F10 then its terminal there, type regedit to open Registry editor and edit registry

Make sure you update to the latest VirtualBox (I think verson 6.1.34), make a brand new virtual machine, make sure you select "Windows 11", verify that you have more than 2 CPU cores selected in the processor settings (should default to 2, just double check), then follow this guide. I had the exact same issue you described and it took a while to figure it out. Best of luck

Same as Windows 10. They give you a grace period to provide a product key (I think 30 or 60 days), it's like a "free trial" until you activate it

VirtualBox 7 introduced TMP2 support. Haven't tried that, but it's possible that with it the Windows 11 TPM requirement doesn't need to be bypassed
