sled pulls have helped a ton for me. I couldn't walk up stairs without using the railing. And now it's no big deal. Took a few months to get there.

Going down stairs I've had that quick twinge of pain right on the surface of my kneecap since I was young. I found if I turned slightly sideways when walking stairs I had no pain.

@@BobandBrad Oh God I hope this works. Both me and my wife can't go down stairs and we have found an apartment on the 3rd floor and no elevator but perfect otherwise.

I know this is a question for an older video, but I don't know if you answer those anymore. I started hanging a few weeks ago from a bar because I had slight shoulder pain in my left shoulder and my friend told me about this from Dr. Kirschs book. I've been hanging 7 minutes a day (1 minute each time) for about 2 weeks, and then 3 days ago my left shoulder pain got worse. I went to see an orthopedic sports surgeon today. He told me the hanging can irritate bursitis that I have, and I shouldn't hang anymore. I'm concerned of what to do. He ordered an MRI, and I will see him back in about a week.

Have you ever done a video on Vionic slippers for knee and hip pain? Curious to know what house slippers you recommend. Thanks for all your helpful videos!

I used to intentionally choose 2nd or 3rd floor apartments for the additional exercise. Now I can barely make it down the 3 steps from my 1st floor apartment to the parking lot. I'm only 48. I'm naturally externally rotated. I stretched the external rotators for years, but they rotate anyway. I assume that's how I already go up and down stairs, but I'll check anyway. I was told around 14 years ago that I would probably have to have my hips replaced in 10 years (from then). So I guess I'm doing pretty well to still have my own. I also noticed that my hips hurt a lot more if I do stretch the hip flexors than if I don't. Weird.

Duck feet is normal?? I always thought walking that way was a sign your hips were out of whack. When I broke my ankle the PT told me with pain/injury go up with the good..and down with the bad. Works great for ankle or pain in hip or knee.

Generally will both legs (hips & knees) need the same rotation to feel good going up & down stairs? For instance, would it always be that BOTH feel best when slightly outward etc? Or is it possible that one leg might feel best while straight & the other feel best with foot slightly outward facing etc or is that not really a possibility?

One time while working I ran up and down the stairs just for the exercise. On the way down I felt something pop. One month of pain. I don't do that anymore.
