The only thing I could think of adding is a "common problems and solutions" portion, but then it might get a bit long. Subscribed.

Thankyou, yes you're right a common mistakes section is nice, but for this video it would add quite a bit of time and not add much new information. The typical mistakes are taking too long to get the board off, and steering the kite back too quickly - which are covered in some detail already.

Fantastic tutorial as always! I've been wondering for a while why you should do your first loops in lightwinds with bigger kites. Don't you come more in the powerzone if the kite moves slower? Small kites move much faster so it doesn't have to go as deep in the powerzone as a slow loop, right? Or am I wrong?

Hello Joep, you're correct that smaller kites turn faster - but it's still better to first try most tricks in light wind (with a few exceptions, like the mega-loop which can't be done in light wind). Light wind means less impact on your body when you make a mistake. If you loop a kite in 15knots, the fastest you can land heading downwind is about 15knots. So a large kite is more forgiving - also good 12m-15m kites can turn on the spot, so no issue with not being able to do a small loop. A small kite does turn rapidly, so can create small loops, but the leading edge also flies forwards far quicker - so it's very easy to make a mistake and send that 7m straight through high power!!!!!!! and of course you'll be using your small kite stronger wind, which means huge power and acceleration from your kite are possible.

You should get both feet back into the straps at the same time. Not like shown only one first. And without a kiteloop you make a Jesus Walk Transition. And also if you loop it and go back to the same direction you came from. A Jesus Walk without a Kiteloop and keep going to the same direction you were running to needs a bit more kite control and power in the kite. Enjoy!
