If there's one thing I've learned after watching these videos, is that you can use your hands and forearms as units of measure
@lemonypasta4 жыл бұрын
In my country (Indonesia) we use it in daily life 😅. "Tulapia fish the size of adult palm", "Sejengkal (the length between the tip of your thumb and pinky when you spread your fingers) galangal", "One hasta (the length between the tip of your fingers and your elbow) of fabrics". It's not a standard use. Just some traditional measuring techniques.

Here’s a tip for the chunjang (black bean paste). Coat your measuring spoon with oil before scooping so it slides off easily, otherwise it will get messy! This trick also works with gochujang (red pepper paste)

It just so happened that Lent is already tomorrow when I realized I wanted to be healthier. So, definitely adding this to my favorites! Thank you so much!

I just love that recipe! Made it twice already. The first time, since I didn’t have enough chicken, I also added a turkey tigh and… omg the taste of it!!! I thought I would prefer chicken but really, turkey gives it even more deep! And I also replaced sweet potato by turnip, and it was amazing!! Less sweet, I presume. I’m making it tonight for my guests. Thank you guys! Love your channel.
@amranow87832 жыл бұрын
The turnip idea is amazing! Do you think if I omit the alcohol it would still have same taste? I was trying to look for alternatives to this. It says to use rice vinegar...but add a 1/2 teaspoon per tablespoon to counteract the sourness. Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm gathering all my ingredients today and going to make it tonight. Thank you !! Lots of love and hugs.
