Protectionism is better than mercantilism because it makes your trade centers employ capitalists instead of shopkeepers (Trade guilds ----> Private ownership). Capitalists invest more into the market and makes your economy better.

Could you play as Perú and reunify it? Get independence from Bolivia while liberating South Perú and Iquicha subjects to stop the Confederation? (Like in real life) And then, doing the Federation of the Andes? Good video

u can also solve the problem with a civil war that radicalizes like almost all and while the % ticks up u can just abdicate the king bc we enacted morarchy forgot to tell and there is the event where u can get 50% loyals

I never seem this exploit reminds me of one of the Yugoslav paths in HOI4. A exploit i seen is to get Corn Laws and remove it which decreases tensions.
