@@TulekBeharTrue, but that itself is the amazing part about Steve! Shows us how we can be healthy, full of life and achieving goals at 77 and beyond! Most people in my part of the world (bangladesh/india) sort of give up on life, on feeling hope and adventure after they retire which I thought was always sad. Westerners have this "lifelong learner" mentality which we have MUCH to learn from!

哈哈!! Zoe, this really resonates with me! After 10 years in prison over 20 years then rehab 26 years ago, I've since then travelled in 17 different countries, achieved a master's degree in criminology from University of Cambridge (at 55 years old), played saxophone in a band for 15 years, as well as solo gigs singing and playing guitar; I speak pretty good French and have been learning Mandarin online for 4 years. I finished the first draft of my memoir 6 weeks ago and am about to begin the developmental edit. I gave a Cambridge TEDx Salon talk after graduating from Cambridge and recently gave a talk at Birmingham University (this was created into a 1-hour film by friends of mine and can be watched here on my KZbin channel along with some of my music). My energy levels are also insanely high and my brain is still going strong at 60 years old. I honestly believe it's all mostly about 'will to power' and the power of attraction - believing you already have what you're trying to achieve will manifest all you want to achieve. I love your inspirational videos! Keep them coming 😻🎸🎷

Love this video.❤ Honestly speaking I made the same experience for the last 3 years while implementing the tipps you mentioned. Energy management is really key to unlock oneself’s full potential in all areas of life. I always consider the questions “is this thing giving me energy or is it taking it from me” this applies to people, media, food and professional life.

Hey, I was there and I know how hard it is. I recovered from severe depression and anxiety. If you unmotivated there's always a reason. My main priority was to find out this reason before doing anything. I gave myself a me-time. I was looking into my thoughts and fixing them. I found thoughts that was embedded in my brain for so long, that I didn't even realize they're there and they're wrong and destructive. Now I am keeping away from everything negative. And I could stop negative self-talk. I feel so much better, finally i feel like I started to live.
Agree. A strong person is not because he is busy every day. But he has a strong mindset and good mentality, so he can accomplish a lot of things.

Hi, I'm from Russia, studying Japanese and Chinese. I just wanna share my story here. A three years ago after some challenges in my life I just felt like I am going down. I just didn't want to go on with my life anymore. The harder I pushed and forced myself to do things, the worse I felt. I felt hopless. So I had to stop all my activities in order to give myself a time. I found that it was my negative self-talk and lack of love I give to myself. For anyone feeling depressed right now: there IS a WAY OUT of THIS. If you're exhausted, out of energy. Try to stop and analize your thoughts. Negative self-talk could be a huge energy drain and lead to severe anxiety and depression. It's life changing to understand only that. With love, my fellow polyglots. ❤️

1. Optimistic inner voice 2. Have a sense of purpose: the meaning of your day, think of your ambition; matin your things a daily routine(for me: English, CFA). 3. Enjoy Me-time: love yourself. 4. Charge your body: exercise, sleep, eating right. Consistent day and sleep time. 5. Build a healthy environment, stay clear of negative energy. Social media tend to be addictive, not to check your phone in the morning and before bed time.

I had an experience, when I thought I should push myself to do things. Eventually I ended up with a mental breakdown and been recovering almost one year. I think my problem was a lack of self-love and I didn't realize why I am doing what I was doing. So after all we're all different and some cases I believe instead of forcing yourself just relax and take a time to find all the missing pieces in your head.

Maintaining high energy is very easy, but unfortunately it's dependent on one thing, and it's something that's entirely out of your control. That thing is success. If you start doing something new, you often start with high energy and motivation. But whether that sustains is entirely dependent on your results. If you get positive results and have some successes, even small ones, that gives you positive feedback and you say "OMG, it really is working!" This success gives you a new, fresh, deluge of energy to keep going. If you then get more positive results, it becomes a self fueling cycle. Continuing is easy when you're getting positive results. But the same is true with the opposite. If you get nothing but negative results and have no successes, eventually your energy and motivation begin to wane. As they drop, you put in less energy, less effort, taking longer to produce inferior results, which likely only further returns negative results and failure. Eventually you can't bring yourself to keep trying, because nothing has worked. Everything is a spiral, you either spiral up or spiral down, and it's all dependent on your results, which as I said earlier, are almost entirely out of your control.

I have chronic and constant negative self talk. I guess its an adaptation for not being diagnosed and treated for ADHD until i was 30 years old. I feel like my brain is just broken. Spent so many years working so hard to fix myself and at this point i just don't know what to do anymore. I've tried it all and nothing really helps. Every milestone i reach that i thought would be a solution, i still find myself feeling just as stuck as ever.. For example ive been exercising 4-5 times a week for almost 2 years and finally built a routine - and it's nice to feel fit and strong and it does definitely help mentally but i'm still absolutely miserable.
