As an added note, i-cord is quite an easy technique for casting on, casting off and making a robust cord draw string. If you can knit plain stocking stitch you can make i-cord. You can find further tutorials for i-cording on the internet. This style of tea cosy is popular for raffles and as gifts. Find some undamaged, second hand tea pots, a lot of older people have accumulated teapots over the years and don't know what to do with them. Everyone loves these sets and it's a great way to renew things and make some money out of them.
