I used a linen blend and just some thin batting from the fabric store.

The math is not mathing for me! In the video you state that you are marking 1/2 of the height and width but using a 8x11 piece of paper means it would not fit. Your tape measure shows you are marking 6 3/4. You mark the height at 10 which is 1/2 the height. 6 3/4 is not half of the 27 inches. Am i missing something? What i have so far based on my measurements seems very long. My measurements are 26 width and 8 height. it is a very long but squat tea pot. I will not download the pattern but the explanation in the video does not make sense for me.

Makes no "math" sense to me either.....since you didn't get a response, I'm going to pull out a roll of kitchen parchment and see if that accomodates the suggestied size shown in the set-up....simple fix I hope!
