So glad I found your videos. I have been crocheting for almost 20 years. I attempted knitting once and couldn't get the hang of it. I am determined to learn it again. I have a lady on here that has crochet videos that have been such a HUGE help. As I get the hang of knitting, your videos are exactly what I need to learn more knitting stuff.

I'm 20 years old, and I've been knitting for 4 or 5 years, but never learned to cast on and had others do it for me. No one ever explained how to in a way that I understood. After watching your video a few times, I can do it perfectly. Thank you so much!

This is incredibly helpful. I just learned how to knit a couple of weeks ago. Casting on was the hardest part for me to remember. I'm such a visual person, so being able to watch this has helped me considerably. Thank you so much. :)

I looked at several different videos for how to cast on & yours was the most helpful. The instructions were very clear and very easy to follow. I've subscribed & watched a few of your other videos & can't wait to try more stitches since I just started knitting a couple weeks ago. Thanks again!!

honestly this is the best video, i have looked at heaps of them (since i had learnt it but forgot i was looking for the the same method of doing it, but no videos i found showed it) and then i found this one and it is amazing i was (literally) ecstatic. This video is good for beginners no only because it has a clear view of the stitches and how to do it but also because the instructions were very clear and simple to follow.

@MamaPalma That may be true but as a beginner I've tried the easier methods and always end up casting too tight or unevenly (when I try to cast on quickly to save time). Taking the extra effort to use this method has given me a nice even row to start with that isn't too tight or too loose (like with the two-needle method). It's like Judy said - different methods work for different people. While I will still practice those, I'll be sticking with what works for me so I can move on in my learning!
