One thing that confused me was the thread side with the needle, I noticed that the needle loops through the needle - is it tied there to keep it in place while the thread gets pulled with the needle or do you use tension so that doesn't happen?

@Angablue3 жыл бұрын
To add a pendant: First of all, I highly suggest you use a pendant with a bail (small or large, the size of the bail is up to your design). Then, use an even number of pearls (half on each side). That's it! Let me know if you need help with anything.

I don't understand where the french wire was used? Can you explain that?

It was used on both ends of the necklace. The French wire function is to protect the silk thread from friction against the metal clasp. I hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any further question, please.

Everything comes from abroad (I live in the UK). The clasp's from Germany. The pearls are from China. The silk thread is from the USA. Have a look at this video description, there I stated the supplies' brands and then you can google and find them where you live. If you live in the UK, then I suggest online shops such as CookSonGold, OldBicycleShop, and Etsy.com (for the pearls, try to buy grade AA or over). :-)
